The classes at The
Somerset School of Performing Arts are arranged to allow students to work
within their own age group at a suitable level.
Each week, during
term time, students take part in dance, drama and singing lessons with our
highly qualified, specialised teachers. Throughout the year we also have
visiting staff who give tuition in other disciplines relating to the Theatre
and Performing Arts such as audition technique, microphone technique, Stage
make-up, costume and set and prop design, modelling, circus skills etc.
We always encourage
the students to be creative themselves and to develop their own ideas in
drama, singing and dance. We are always amazed at the standard of work that
they produce and the way that they all work together to create their own
masterpieces. All of the students have the greatest respect for each other
and many have made life long friends at The Somerset School of Performing
Arts.
